Skeletons in the Closet

I thought you and I
Were above this
We seemed to be beyond
The point of hiding things

But a seemingly perfect relationship
Always has a few skeletons
In the closet

We said we wouldn't do this
That we would tell the truth
But I guess that failed

So where do we go from here?
Now that trust is broken
How do we get past
All the lies that have been spoken?
